Our Mission:
To encourage, inspire and motivate youth to be influential leaders, entrepreneurs and powerful young men and women in their schools, homes, communities, jobs, and businesses.
Our Vision:
LEAP is committed to changing the lives of youth through hands on programs and projects that will challenge young leaders to overcome the adversities that they may face. Through the development of life and leadership skills, self awareness and enrichment, healthy relationships and entrepreneurial pathways, we believe that these youth will be empowered and inspired to make effective and influential decisions that will make them self sufficient and successful. Through their participation and mentorship, we believe that they will reach their goals of leadership, entrepreneurism, and provision for their destined lifestyle. We will encourage all boys and girls to become great business owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders in every area of life.

WHAT WE DO
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Leaders & Entrepreneurs for the Aspirations (Enrichment) & Promotion of Girls & YOUTH (LEAP), is a non-profit leadership and life development program serving boys and girls ages 9 – 17. LEAP works with youth to provide access to academic achievement, leadership and life enrichment skills, community involvement, business acumen and business ownership opportunities. Since inception LEAP has impacted more than 50 through our 3 program areas.
In 2019 we believed LEAP would impact the lives of more than 25 young girls in the first year of its existence with a goal to reach every girl that desired to walk in a path of leadership.
LEAP believed that every girl has the potential to be whomever they choose without the restraints of life’s ceilings. We believe exposure to the areas of leadership, self development, entrepreneurism, community leadership, the arts and many other fields of interest will help to sustain a level of success within every girl and now; every youth. As the founder, mentor, business owner, entrepreneur and community leader. we hope to unlock the potential of every youth in a positive, productive and influential manner.
LEAP will fight to combat the things in life that will deter our young girls and boys from achieving the goals that we have set. We will take a strong stance against drugs, alcohol, depression, suicide, self endangerment, abusive relationships, pregnancy, bullying and peer pressure in life and online. We will help these youth to face the challenges of life with morals, creativity, focus, and positivity.
LEAP has a strategy that will help these young people fulfill the goals of this program. Our focus will be this inspirational verse; “And don’t let anyone put you down because you’re young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity.” 1 Tim 4:12MSG
Our strategy:

Our goals:
1. To establish a positive environment and atmosphere for which youth can learn to trust, grow and flourish.
2. To be a resource for achieving all goals including self esteem, character, leadership, business, relationships, education, and overall life.
3. To effectively educate, empower, equip, employ and implement the skills, knowledge and abilities of every child.
4. To help them overcome obstacles and work toward achieving their place in life no matter what that looks like.
5. To teach them how to be a leader, an entrepreneur, business owner, creator of ideas, how to unleash their potential and to reproduce in others a productive, effective and influential life and lifestyle.
LEAP will offer a platform for training, teaching, informing and exposing new things however, it will be a program that is influenced by the needs of those involved.
WHY WE DO
OUR DIRECTOR, IS AN ENTREPRENEUR, COMMUNITY LEADER, AND YOUTH ADVOCATE AND WHEN SHE REALIZED THAT THE TOWN OFFERED VERY LITTLE FOR YOUTH, SHE CONSIDERED WHAT HER DAUGHTERS AND SON WOULD DO AS THEY GOT OLDER AND WOULD THEY RETURN TO THEIR HOME AFTER COLLEGE, SO SHE DECIDED TO HELP THEM AND OTHER YOUTHTO THINK ABOUT THEIR FUTURE AND LET THEM KNOW THAT IT IS OBTAINABLE, EVEN NOW.
